Discovery leaving space station for the last time (AP)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Discovery's astronauts got a special acknowledgement weekday morning in advance of their departure from the International Space Station.

Actor William Shatner, who played Capt. Kirk on the example "Star Trek" TV series, paying tribute to expanse shuttle Discovery's voyages over the decades. He said the shuttle has boldly gone and finished what no satellite has finished before.
