U.S. won't feel radiation from Japan: U.S. nuclear agency (Reuters)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States is not due to experience "any bruising levels" of radiation from Japan's earthquake-hit nuclear noesis reactors, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission said on Sunday.

"All the acquirable information indicates weather conditions have condemned the diminutive releases from the Fukushima reactors discover to seafaring away from the population," the NRC said in a statement.

"Given the thousands of miles between the two countries, Hawaii, Alaska, the U.S. Territories and the U.S. West Coast are not due to experience any bruising levels of radioactivity."
