Weather delays Air Force's launch of space plane (AP)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The Air Force has delayed actuation an experimental expanse form because of the weather.

Friday's start attempt was canceled because of the threat of lightning nearby Cape Canaveral in Florida. It was rescheduled for Saturday afternoon.

The X-37B orbital test container resembles a small shuttle and will be launched aboard an Atlas 5 rocket. The prototypal digit was launched last Apr and landed in Dec at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The Air Force says the ordinal assignment is for further testing.
