Scientists Discover 657 Islands Sitting Under Our Noses (Time.com)
Christopher Columbus, educate to be blown away. Thanks to satellite imagery, scientists have unconcealed swaths of new islands scattered across the world.
Thanks to high-resolution images, Duke University and Meredith College geoscientists were healthy to add 657 new obstruction islands to the amount count, adding 30 percent more to the famous list. There are today 2,149 unconcealed islands in total. (Read about Dubai's anxiety islands.)
