China finds trace radiation in more areas (AP)

BEIJING – Asiatic authorities say analyse amounts of part irradiation from Japan's stricken nuclear power being hit been detected in more parts of China.

Authorities hit already reportable that low levels of radioactive iodine-131 were detected in the air above north Heilongjiang domain over the weekend. In a notice on its website Tuesday, the Environmental Protection Ministry says further traces were institute over the south regions of Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, state and Guangxi.

The ministry says the tiny amounts of iodine-131 bear no threat to public health.

The reports are the only evidence of irradiation reaching China linked to the unseaworthy Fukushima nuclear plant, damaged by the massive March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
